I received this complimentary for review. Personally, I loved the scent. It definitely smells like honey but thankfully not too sweet. It did go on feeling a bit sticky but dried down and left my skin feeling smooth. I’ll definitely keep using it.

Hydrates and smooths out your skin!!

The essence toner has helped my face feel and look smoother after using it for two weeks. I apply the essence toner both in my morning and night routine after cleansing my skin. I apply 3-4 drops of the toner on my face and neck by patting it in with my hands. It is a bit runny which I prefer since it quickly absorbs into your skin. The toner has a light honey scent that is not overpowering and will disappear once you apply your next product. There is also a slight stickiness after I apply the product. You do have to shake the bottle for a couple of seconds to make sure it mixes well.
I have combination skin and the toner did not leave me an oily mess throughout the day or when I wake up. The toner is hydrating but you should still use your moisturizer after.

So when it comes to facial products, I'm not the most educated but I've been learning a lot lately. In terms of feeling, Miss Flowers and Mr. Honey are amazing. It is thicker than a regular toner almost like a serum but absorbs into the skin like it was the missing ingredient to a perfect recipe. It hydrates the skin in preparation for a moisturizer but is even good enough to be on it's own. The sent is a light milk and honey so you won't feel like you are radiating fragrance. Absolutely love this product.

Great!

This is great if you have reactive, inflamed skin. It has very little fragrance and is soothing. I put it in the fridge and use it cold and it feels so good. I don't have inflamed skin right now but it moisturizes and hydrates my skin. My only issue is it's a little hard to shake enough out of the small hole. In the summer I may just use and sunscreen, and skip the heavy moisturizer. This was gifted by Banila.
